Drum Roll Please.....

Ladies and Gentlemen we FIANLLY have the keys!!

THANK GOODNESS!! Please let me tell you that the last two days have felt like someone is murdering me, seriously, we didn't have any issues with closing on this house until the last two days before closing! Litereally they called and told us the closing costs 2.5 minutes before we were supposed to have the cashiers check to them!! EEEKKKK. They basically needed our whole life story the last 2 days, including our parents as well. So thank you to both set of our parents for being patient and sending us all the documents etc that we needed!! It is FINALLY offical!!! All our troops will be here tomorrow morning around 9-10 to start helping! Today is month end at work so I will be working late BUT once I get off work zac and I will be working on hanging shower curtains, curtains, organizing the closet etc. Hope everyone has a happy Friday!! Stay tuned for house pictures!!!

Loving Life

This past weekend was fabulous, the last month has been crazy busy with closing on our new house. I felt like my stress levels haven risen to an all time high and I thought that buying a house was suppose to be fun?? lol :) Anyways I will give you a little recap of the weekend we had

1. I received a very thoughtful and touching letter from someone( I wont mention who, but they know who they are). It was a letter that was written with complete sincerity and it seriously made me almost tear up to read the gracious and wonderful things this person had to say. I can't thank this person enough for the letter and the fact that the 5 minutes it took to write it and send it to me meant a whole worlds worth of difference to me, So, Thank you for starting my weekend off great. I love that there are still people in this world who have the decency to be kind, respectufl, apologetic, and forgiving.

2. We decided to have a a mini bon fire on Saturday night, I had been running errands all day, signing papers for the house and we had a long and exhausting night on friday doing our final walk through on the house. The people seriously talk to you like you are retarded. For example: The guy showed us how to flush the toilet, run the dishwasher, use the garage door etc etc. He serioulsy treated us like second graders UGH! Needless to say by saturday night I was ready for some R&R. My husband LOVES to play with fire so below are some pictures of the fire pit before zac engulfed it with GAS!!! While I was sitting nearly a half of foot away! ( with LOTS of hairspray in my hair) UGH!! Overall we really enjoyed ourselves and Zac's sister was home for the weekend so that was nice to be able to chit chat with her while enjoying the beautiful weather!!

Here is the fire before zac engulfed it with Gas!!

Here is the fire AFTER zac dumped a ton of gas on it!!

Sunday we went to church which has been a great expereince so far, it was hard moving away and not knowing anyone in my new church etc. It also didn't help that zac wasn't a huge fan of the church when he attending before college, and now they have a new pastor and he was weary of him etc. So far it has gone great we are just getting back into the swing of things and it is neat to see how even though they are a United Methodist Church, they still do things differently, there are things that I like better and there are things that I like less than my hometown church. Change is good and I am excited to see what all this new church has in store for us.

After church we did some organizing and such of the things we have to move this coming saturday!!! We close on our house on thursday and then we are calling in our troops to help us move on saturday!!! So, yesterday we went an picked out our washer and dryer, couch, bedroom set etc. It was so fun to actually to get to pick these things out. It makes me feel so grown up( until I saw the bill) eeek why are washer and dryers sooo expensive. Anyways after that we made a walmart run to get some of the necessites for the new house such as curtain rods, curtains, shower curtains, trash bags etc. on our way into indianola we saw a TON of hot air ballons. In case none of you knew riding in a hot air ballon is on my bucket list!!! Last summer i was soooo close to getting to ride on one and then it ended up not working out so, this summer my # 1 bucket list is to ride in a hot air ballon. I LOVE living so close the the ballon grounds in indianola b/c there are so many differnet colors and kinds of ballons.  Here are some of them we saw yesterday!!

Here the ballons are from a distance

This is us getting  closer to one taking off from the middle school!!

I made Zac creep up on these people while they were taking off!!!

Heres to hoping I get to cross this off my bucket list this summer!! Hope everyone has a fabulous week I can't wait for thursday to close on our house!! Happy Monday!! XXOxoxo
